Our Monastery (Gompa), the Ngedon Shedrup Phuntsok Ling, or The Place of Study and Practice of the Excellent Qualities of Profound Meaning, is a Gompa form the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism founded by Lama Orgyen Chokyi Dorje following the instructions of the most venerable Kyabje Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche.
The Ngendon Gompa is also the seat of the present encarnation of Dungso Repa, Tulku Tashi Eubar.
The Monastery is situated in Narayanthan, Kathmandu, in the beautiful mountains in the outskirts of the natural park near Nagi Gompa.
The Ngedon Shedrup Phuntsok Ling Gompa was inaugurated in 2018 during the auspicious date Saga Dawa after the amazing effort of 20 years by our beloved Lama; from all the works to prepare the land, opening roads, thousands of trucks with stone for the foundation and finally the building itself.
In this way the suggestion of Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche and the aspirations of the Lama and his beloved family where fulfilled.
